Holiday Party Attire

Tis the season for holiday parties! We have had a holiday party to attend almost every week so far and with so many, planning what to wear can get overwhelming. I never know whether to be dressy or casual so I try to find a middle ground with my party attire. I love mixing dressy pieces with a more casual look like this black and gold skirt mixed with a simple blouse.

When it comes to my boyfriend Jeremy picking out what he is going to wear, it’s always so easy for him. His favorite go to outfit for any holiday party is a black pair of jeans paired with a crisp white button up and dress shoes. It’s a great mix of casual but still dressy enough for any holiday party, plus it’s comfortable.

I love this black wrap from Nordstrom. It’s the perfect laying piece on top of this style of outfit instead of a coat. This skirt also from Nordstrom is such a fun holiday statement piece and can be paired with different tops such as this A.L.C blouse or even a black turtleneck. I always keep my accessories to a minimum but love adding a bold red lip to any holiday look. Simple eyes, but a bold lip help create a festive look.

You can never go wrong with a basic black pump. They are a staple for every wardrobe since they go with everything! These black pumps are the perfect shoe to pair with any holiday outfit whether a skirt, dress, or even jeans. A red pair of pumps, like these ones from Nordstrom, is always a great go-to as well when holiday styling.
