On the nose there are notes of rose petal, raspberry, strawberry, and hints of earth and crushed herbs. Flavors of fresh red cherries, rhubarb, and pomegranate, on the palate. The 2021 vintage has a medium body, with finely integrated tannins, and a balanced juicy acidity.
Think classics with a twist here such as herbs de Provence roast chicken, tea-smoked duck, or cream of mushroom soup with sherry and thyme. A charcuterie plate with dried cherries would not be amiss!

“An attractive perfume opens in the glass of the 2021 Pinot Noir Saralee’s Vineyard with wild raspberry, leather, and candied roses. Medium-bodied, with elegant structure, fine tannins, and a graceful softness to its texture, it has notes of preserved strawberry, lavender, and turned soil. It’s a very charming wine to drink 2024-2030.” A.F. July 2023
